Dr. Ding is active in disseminating her research findings and making contributions to the design community and healthcare design research community as a speaker and presenter.

As a researcher, she is passionate about how patients and caregivers perceive, interact, and respond to the healthcare environment, as well as how healthcare design can provide improvements in human health.
